So many people have passed
in and out of my life
that I’ve lost count.

This is partly because I’ve
lived in many places:

Germany
Philippines
Texas
Florida
Minnesota
Chicago
Vermont
New York
Massachusetts
North Carolina

I had to live in all
those places to
keep one step ahead of
the Law (Just kidding).

I had to live in all
those places because
I had jobs were I
relocated a lot.

And I met a lot
of people, some
good, some not
so good.

Some memorable,
some not.

Living in all those
places with countless
people passing
through my life

was kind of like a
microcosm of
the greater scheme
of life itself.

People passing in and
out of our lives from
living and dying

even if you’ve only
lived in one place,
a city or even a
small town,
all your life.

And one day you
and I will be the
ultimate passing people
when we pass away.
